The Long Island Dental Hygienists' Association (LIDHA) is the local component of the Dental Hygienists' Association of the State of New York (DHASNY) which, in turn, is a constituent of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).

LIDHA is a not for profit organization dedicated to the advancement of dental hygiene. It is the only not for profit dental hygiene association on Long Island that is run by hygienists for hygienists!

The LIDHA board consists of volunteer members who are committed to its members and potential members of Nassau and Suffolk counties. We are a resource for the most up-to-date information from current laws that govern the practice of dental hygiene in NY to the newest products and technology available.
